Toni es un joven dramaturgo con un futuro prometedor. Una noche cualquiera aparecen unas goteras en su techo. Lo que debería ser un simple accidente doméstico se acaba transformando en el momento más importante de su vida, cuando descubre que su vecino es él mismo treinta años más tarde. Las cosas en el futuro no parecen haber ido como Toni se imaginaba y las dos réplicas intentarán modificar aquello que ha fallado en el presente, para conseguir así el mejor futuro posible.
Goteras pretende jugar con un género poco común en el teatro: la ciencia ficción. A partir de los diálogos y los juegos escenográficos, la obra pretende viajar a través del tiempo mientras intenta reflexionar sobre el significado de hacerse mayor, la lucha entre las expectativas y la cruda realidad, y el valor del éxito. Y todo sin perder de vista la comedia. Porque encontrarte con tu yo del futuro y verte convertido en algo que nunca hubieras imaginado, puede llegar a ser trágicamente cómico.
