Un cantante, 70 voces y una historia que recordar.
El actor y cantante Julián Fontalvo presenta a varios personajes que le acompañan en su viaje e interpreta a 70 artistas internacionales como Sting, Bob Marley, David Bowie, Andrea Bocelli, Edith Piaf, Amy Winehouse o Tina Turner, entre otros, imitando las voces de los temas que forman parte de su historia. Las canciones, tejidas dentro de la narración, inspiran un viaje personal para cada espectador/a que también recreará la banda sonora de su vida.
Esta obra de teatro unipersonal explora temas universales como el éxito, el fracaso, la búsqueda de los sueños, el amor y el poder de la música en nuestra memoria.
El Imitador llega por primera vez a Donostia con dos únicas funciones después de haber triunfado en escenarios como el del prestigioso Hotel Bellagio de Las Vegas o el del Festival Fringe de Edimburgo las tres últimas ediciones. Su éxito ha sido avalado con premios en Nueva York como el de "Mejor espectáculo internacional" en el United Solo Festival, el festival de teatro unipersonal más grande del mundo.
El show sigue consolidándose como un fenómeno teatral tras ocho temporadas en Madrid.
