El Ensemble Nacional de Danza y Canto de Georgia – Erisioni, el conjunto folclórico más antiguo e histórico del Cáucaso, ofrece un espectáculo vibrante que reúne lo más representativo del patrimonio cultural de Georgia, mezclando su espectacular danza con su preciosa música. Sobre el escenario, 20 cantantes y 20 bailarinas y bailarines interpretan una cuidada selección de danzas tradicionales y cantos polifónicos que reflejan la riqueza y diversidad de las distintas regiones del país.
El repertorio está compuesto por piezas folclóricas transmitidas de generación en generación, muchas de ellas con raíces anteriores al siglo XX, junto con arreglos escénicos de temas recogidos a lo largo de la historia, en un esfuerzo constante por preservar y revitalizar el folclore nacional. La actuación destaca por su fidelidad a las formas originales, así como por la fuerza expresiva de su puesta en escena y la profundidad vocal de la polifonía georgiana, reconocida por la UNESCO como Patrimonio Cultural Inmaterial de la Humanidad.
La música cobra vida gracias al acompañamiento de instrumentos tradicionales georgianos como el panduri, chonguri, doli o salamuri, que aportan una sonoridad auténtica al espectáculo. El resultado es una experiencia artística que fusiona elegancia, energía y emoción, y que conecta al espectador con el alma ancestral del Cáucaso.
