La Asociación Lírica Sasibill presenta El huésped del sevillano de Jacinto Guerrero.
En la imperial ciudad de Toledo, Juan Luis, un pintor de la corte, tiene el encargo del rey para que pinte una Virgen. Conoce a Raquel y queda prendado de su belleza. El conde don Diego, aprovechando la salida de la joven Raquel de su casa, la hace su prisionera, llevándosela al Mesón del Sevillano. “El huésped” del mesón no es otro que Cervantes, personaje incluido en la trama de la obra.
Entre sus números musicales destacan El Canto a la Espada, Castellana Toledana, Mujer de los ojos negros asi como el popular coro de Las Lagarteranas. Manuel de Diego, Nuria García Arrés, Estibaliz Arroyo, Koldo Torres y Jon Imanol Etxabe interpretarán la zarzuela, junto con la Orquesta y Coro Sasibill, bajo la dirección musical de Arkaitz Mendoza.
