Agatha, en la habitación del Hotel Taoro de Tenerife, en el cual se hospeda, se enfrenta a una nueva noche en vela. Los fantasmas de la relación rota con su marido y la reciente pérdida de su madre han causado una profunda mella en su percepción de la realidad. Ha escuchado extraños ruidos y quiere comprobar que todo está en orden.
