Espectáculo homenaje a Rocío Dúrcal en el que su hija Carmen Morales y Alejandro Vera repasan las canciones más emblemáticas de la artista.

Carmen Morales ha recibido una inesperada oferta: ser protagonista de un musical en el que se repasan la vida y las canciones más famosas de su madre. Carmen no tiene del todo claro si este proyecto debe salir adelante. Se cumplen veinte años de su muerte y hay ciertos temas que no quiere revivir. Además, y por encima de todo, ella considera que su madre es irrepetible e inolvidable.

Así que ha dado un no como respuesta. Debido a esa rotunda negativa, el autor/director del proyecto, un poco desesperado, le ha pedido que venga al teatro y lea con él el libreto. Sin miedo le ofrece cortar, cambiar, añadir lo que considere oportuno. Durante 90 minutos repasarán juntos los momentos más divertidos y entrañables de la vida de su madre, de su padre, de la suya propia y de la apasionante historia de España. Una vez consumido el tiempo, ¿aceptará Carmen encarnar a su madre en este alocado musical?
