14.4 pretende explorar, desde un lenguaje descarnadamente realista y a la vez indisimuladamente lírico y poético, el viaje que separa dos mundos que viven a tan solo 14.4 kilómetros de distancia.
Cuenta la historia de Ahmed, un niño que escapa del maltrato familiar para habitar las calles de Tánger. Allí, en las calles de la ciudad portuaria, llegarán aventuras, sueños y desventuras y una obsesión que lo recorre todo… cruzar a España. Una España que es vista como el paraíso en la tierra, el final del camino, la Ítaca con la que sueña todo viajero.
Ahmed consigue cruzar con 9 años a la península escondido en los bajos de un camión. En la tierra prometida llegará otra odisea que se aleja de lo soñado pero que no está exenta de sentido del humor, aventuras, redes de solidaridad y finales inesperados.
