La isla de las perlas es una opereta en dos actos con música de Pablo Sorozabal y texto de Emilio González del Castillo, Manuel Martí Alonso y José Mendez Herrera, y producción de Donostia Musika. Se estrena en Madrid en 1933 y se repone en 1949 en Barcelona en segunda versión. Está representación significa el estreno en Gipuzkoa de la obra.
Inspirada en la película muda Tabú de F.W. Murnau, está ambientada en los mares del sur y nos cuenta la historia de Tehaé, príncipe de la isla, con Taipó, una muchacha de la isla, y cómo la relación entre ambos se oscurece con la presencia de un marino, el Capitán Keplan.
