Con casi tres décadas difundiendo el baile flamenco dentro y fuera de España con su compañía Rojas y Rodríguez, Carlos Rodríguez se sumerge en el mundo pictórico de Pablo Picasso en su nuevo espectáculo, Eterno, una obra en dos actos con música original interpretada en directo.
Eterno rompe las normas de un espectáculo de danza al uso, desde una voluntad rupturista y renovadora, deconstruyendo el proceso creativo de Picasso, acercándose a su figura desde múltiples perspectivas, asumiendo las tesis del artista, el arte es una gran mentira que utilizamos para contar la verdad y destruimos para poder crear. Para ello, el espectáculo se divide en dos piezas: Suite, de raíz flamenca y espíritu contemporáneo y Eterno, pieza experimental y ecléctica que rescata la estilización de la danza española, aportándole frescura escénica e innovación.
Carlos Rodríguez ha conseguido reunir a un elenco de grandes figuras de la danza española y contemporánea para componer un lienzo único e irrepetible.
