Tal día como hoy, hace un montón de años, me subí a un escenario y empecé a darles la brasa a los espectadores con eso de comparar nuestras vidas con las de los americanos. O al menos con las de los americanos que veíamos en películas y series. A partir de esa noche, lo que comenzó como una ocurrencia puntual en el bar de unos amiguetes, fue creciendo y desmesurándose, hasta convertirse en el show de enorme éxito que me dio a conocer, no solo en nuestro país, sino en todo el entorno hispanohablante y que me hizo groseramente millonario. Hoy, rescatado del archivo, renovado y actualizado, tengo el gusto y el orgullo de presentarlo de nuevo ante vuestros ojos, oídos y hasta olfatos. Espero que lo disfrutéis, como yo lo he disfrutado, como lo disfruto y como lo disfrutaré. Gracias, en cualquier caso, por adelantado. Y recordad que esto en América no pasa.
